Heating and Cooling


In 2001, we started a vision to bring the best products available to the market, and Lennox came to the surface immediately.

Having been around since 1895, Lennox has never been sold off to another company.

They have developed the first distribution network—direct to their dealers. This eliminated many steps from part(s) acquisition to getting technical support. The development of this business—which markets directly to the dealers—gives us more control over correcting problems if they arise. The quality in the American Made products cannot be overstated.

Lennox is very concerned with their image and they only sell to licensed dealers who exhibit high quality standards. The reliability of their products has made us a leader in our community

Our secondary heating and cooling product lines include Aire-Flo, which is a subsidiary of Lennox International and American Standard.

We also promote a specialty heating and cooling product called Mr. Slim, by Mitsubishi. This is a ductless product for special applications that will not allow for ductwork installation. If you have an unused attic space with no way of getting ductwork to the floor, Mitsubishi has a product to fit your needs.

Super high efficiency is also found in all the Mitsubishi products. The Mitsubishi Heat pump and Cooling products have been in the United States since 1975 and they are the leaders in the ductless marketplace.

Warranties for all our products are at Standard Industry minimum with the capabilities of increasing to the top end of Limited Lifetime and 10-year Parts and Labor for certain products. Together with our “Elite Protection Agreement” for maintenance, we will provide you with reliable and economical operation of your home comfort equipment.


Indoor Air Quality


With the advent of more airborne viruses, bacteria, bugs and VOC’s it is now more important than ever to clean the air in our homes where we are spending more than 60 percent of our time. According to the EPA, the levels of VOC’s in our homes is 2–5 times greater than outdoor air.

Asthma is also on the rise with over 7.3 percent of the adult population and 9.3 percent of children suffering from different degrees of this disease. Asthma triggers, according to the CDC can be tobacco smoke, dust mites, ozone, humidity, particulate and more.

Indoor filtration devices have developed over the course of the past few years to bring relief to the asthma sufferer. Our Healthy Climate indoor air quality product line has the capabilities to clean the bad air in your home and provide your family with the clean air they need to live a full life. The product line starts with 10 MERV filtration and proceeds to 16MERV. MERV is a general indicator for the efficiency of a filtering device. The higher the MERV number the greater the efficiency of the filter.

We also carry Germicidal Lights which is just like a little sunshine in your ductwork. The UV rays emitted from these lights are similar to the suns UV rays which are very good at keeping the virus and bacteria counts down during the summer. Our lights help control the reproduction of these viruses and bacteria during the winter months within your ductwork.



Tankless Water Heaters


Controlled Energy Corp. (CEC), of Waitsfield, VT, was started by a husband-and-wife-team interested in bringing the energy efficiency of European water heaters to the American market. Since 1979, the company has expanded to include a full product line of gas and electric water heaters for both the whole house and point-of-use.

In 2004, this family-run business celebrated its 25th year. The highlight of this anniversary was the introduction of a new product line of gas tankless water heaters by Bosch.

World-renowned for quality in engineering, Bosch has been manufacturing gas tankless water heaters for over 60 years. Then in January 2004, they proudly unveiled the latest culmination in water heating technology—the Pro-Tankless by Bosch Water Heating Division. CEC soon became BBT North American Corporation.

The defining quality of Pro-Tankless by Bosch is its simplicity of design. With all the benefits of tankless water heating—energy savings, endless hot water, space savings, etc.—these units have the added bonus of ease of maintenance.

Climate-Tech has been testing the tankless market since 2002 with our first installation of a 125X unit. We monitored the operation and the customer interaction to get a good feel for the potential market. In 2004, when Bosch entered the market place by acquiring CEC, it was clearly evident there was plenty of room to grow in the United States with the strong support of an International partner.

In 2008, Climate-Tech was chosen by Bosch to become the local area Authorized Bosch Tankless Service Provider. This commitment by Bosch for service and support has given us the confidence to provide for our customer the service they require for many years into the future. Our commitment has grown and our base of installed products continues to grow.
